Fossil Rock

At the crux on a 5.10c? Summer 1996
I have been out to Fossil Rock once and I was not overly impressed with it. There is a logging road that goes practically up to the base of the climb, but it is gated off, so it ends up being a 2 mile walk to get to the rock. The rock is dirty and not the most solid stuff in the world. My climbing partner, Jared, will probably disagree with the rating that I placed under the picture, he thinks it is a 5.11+.
