Eagle Mountain Road

Eagle Mountain Road, CA - Day 1, 6/25/1999

Eagle Mountain Road Eagle Mountain Road is about 3 miles west of Desert Center, along the 10 freeway. South of the freeway are some cool rocks, similar to Joshua Tree, and some great, free, primitive camping areas. I do not know if the land is owned by BLM or what but the area is pretty killer.

I found a great site in the shadow of some boulders. There are some better sites, with fire rings and tables, but the Honda just does not have the ground clearance to get to those sites. (Click on image to see a larger view. Use your browsers back arrow to return to this page)
